Leon Louis Giorgio, Jr. is a real estate executive with 26-plus years of experience who has co-founded Select Properties, Ltd. and its affiliated companies. He presently serves on the following boards of directors: Delgado Community College Foundation, Delgado Community College Facilities Corporation, First NBC Bank, New Orleans, Louisiana, First NBC Bank Holding Company, New Orleans, Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Crime Commission. Additionally, he is a member and currently serves on the Executive Committees of the Jefferson Business Council and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. In 2007, Mr. Giorgio was honored by Delgado Community College with an Endowed Professorship and First Generation Endowed Undergraduate Program scholarships in Business and Workforce Development in his name. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1972 and completed post graduate studies at the University of Illinois for the Executive Development Program.

Mr. Giorgio was appointed on January 11, 2008 and his service end date is July 1, 2013.
