F. "Mike" Stone
of New Orleans

Stone is a teacher with the New Orleans Public School System. He has been involved in the educational profession for the past 30 years. He is a member of the Louisiana Federation of Teachers Executive Board and the United Teachers of New Orleans Executive Board. He currently serves on the New Orleans Public Schools/New Orleans Education Foundation Strategic Planning Committee. Stone is the AFL-CIO's nominee to the Board.

Mr. Stone was appointed on January 12, 1999 and his service end date is July 1, 2009.
