Memorial Service, February 10, 2008

A candlelight vigil was held on February 10, 2008 at 5:15 p.m. on the grounds of the Baton Rouge Technical College campus. Community leaders and families of Taneshia Butler and Karsheika Graves led the ceremony.

Memorial Fund

A fund in the memory of Taneshia Butler and Karshieka Graves has been established. Donations can be made to the families through any Chase Bank in the Greater Baton Rouge area as well as statewide.

The fund is called: "The LTC, Baton Rouge Campus Student Memorial Fund"

The Capital Area Human Services District is ready to help any student/faculty/staff that needs assistance today. They may go to the Clinic that is located at 4615 Government Street and identify themselves as a student/employee of the Baton Rouge Technical Campus.

The Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center is ready to take any and all calls from students, faculty and staff beginning today. The number to call is (225) 924-3900.
