The LCTCS has confirmed that hundreds of students, faculty and staff from Baton Rouge Community College, Northshore Technical Community College (Hammond), River Parishes Community College (Gonzales), and South Louisiana Community College (Lafayette) have been severely impacted by the recent floods in Southern Louisiana.
“The past 10 days have been very tumultuous both professionally and personally for many of us in Southern Louisiana including many of our students, faculty and staff,” said LCTCS President, Monty Sullivan. “While it will take years for us as a community to fully recover, our goal is to help our students, employees and their families recover as quickly as possible and to resume a sense of normalcy.”
Those wishing to contribute monetary donations may do so at www.lctcs.edu/foundation/donate. One hundred percent of all proceeds will directly benefit LCTCS students, faculty, and staff affected by the floods.
