Storer Services, Inc. has been a long-standing, generous supporter and partner of Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC). Last November, BPCC honored Storer Services with the naming of lab space in BPCC’s Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology for late businessman and community philanthropist, H. E. “Bud” Storer, the company’s founder.
“The H.E. “Bud” Storer Energy and Automation Lab is a model for providing integrated learning, which is a critical component of job-preparation for careers in these high-demand fields,” says BPCC Chancellor, Dr. Rick Bateman, Jr. “BPCC was honored to dedicate the lab space in the name of “Bud” Storer where our students can utilize the latest in technology when preparing for the workforce.”
“Bud” Storer supported the study of energy systems monitoring and controls for career professionals entering the field, and the Storer’s investment of $150,000 ensures his vision becomes a reality at BPCC.
Storer Services continually seeks to provide opportunities for students to receive integrated learning which is a critical component of job preparation for careers in high-demand fields.
Bossier Parish Community College wants to honor Storer Services, Inc. for the role they play in changing the lives of people across Northwest Louisiana. With partners such as Storer, Louisiana and its citizens will continue to move forward.
