Louisiana's Community and Technical Colleges

BATON ROUGE, La. – Today, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System announced the schedule of public forums and the search committee that will interview the finalists for the River Parishes Community College Chancellor position.  Last week, after a nationwide search process, four finalists were announced.  The finalists, in alphabetical order, are Dr. Dale Doty, Dr. Olin Joynton, Dr. Neil Matkin, and Dr. Jeffery A. Smith.

Each finalist has been invited to participate in a series of interviews with the search committee and public forums with students, faculty and staff, and community members on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the college's main campus located at7384 John LeBlanc Blvd., in Sorrento starting at 8:30 am.

In addition to the public forums, each candidate will interview with Louisiana Community and Technical College System President Joe D. May who will make the final recommendation for the position to the LCTCS Board of Supervisors.
