Virginia Robinson
Virginia Robinson is a native of Abbeville, Louisiana, and currently resides in Gonzales with her husband of twenty-five years, Michael, and their two children, Liam (22) and Lila (17). Early life experiences instilled in her three core values—commitment to family, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong sense of civic responsibility. In a home where learning was both expected and nurtured, she developed a deep appreciation for education that ultimately shaped her career path.
Ms. Robinson earned her Bachelor of Science in History, English, and Religious Studies from Louisiana State University and completed her teacher certification at the University of Louisiana. During her tenure with the Lafayette Parish School System, she quickly recognized the importance of innovative approaches that transform student outcomes.
Today, she leads NOLA Education’s Curriculum and Education Services team, advancing the company’s mission to become the nation’s leader in hands-on, real-world learning and to strengthen students’ readiness for careers across all levels of industry. Guided by her father’s advice that a reputation is uniquely one’s own and must be protected, Virginia works to uphold and elevate NOLA Education’s standing as a trusted partner in transforming education.
Ms. Robinson was appointed by Governor Landry on October 17, 2025 to fill a term as Board Member that expires on July 1, 2031. She represents the 2nd Congressional District.
