About

The LCTCS Facilities Corporation (Corporation) is a Louisiana private non-profit public corporation validly existing and in good standing under the laws of the State of Louisiana created for the purpose of administration, financing, planning, acquisition, expansion and construction of quality facilities for the benefit of students of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (“LCTCS”).

The Corporation’s property interest in the projects it develops is that it holds a ground lease of the property from the State. It will construct the facility and lease the ground and facility to the LCTCS for use in providing needed workforce development. The only property interest in the project that any party contracting with the Corporation is the contract for their services. The Corporation is not aware of any contractor receiving any additional benefits from the projects.

Corporation Leadership

The Corporation’s board of directors consists of civic leaders from geographic areas across the state, who generously volunteer their time to represent the interest of the LCTCS, its colleges and the State of Louisiana in providing oversight and accountability for building programs authorized by the Louisiana Legislature. CSRS, Inc. is the contracted Program Manager chosen by a competitive Request for Qualifications providing construction management services for the Act 391 and Act 360 projects. United Professionals Company, L.L.C. (UPC) is the contracted Program Administrator chosen by a competitive Request for Qualifications providing administration services for the Act 391 and Act 360 projects.

GENERAL CONTRACTOR  SERVICES WANTED

Proposals for General Contractor for the following project will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018.  Responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) must be submitted according to the requirements listed in the RFP.  Interested firms must obtain an official RFP package via email from Mr. Clinton D. Whittington, AIA, TBA Studio, Email: cwhittington@tbastudio.com. This includes all correspondence regarding this RFP.

ONLY THOSE FIRMS THAT HAVE OBTAINED THE OFFICIAL RFP PACKAGE FROM TBA STUDIO WILL BE CONSIDERED BY LCTCS FACILITIES CORPORATION.

LATE OR INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED.
