Maria Beltran is a student at Bossier Parish Community College. She is a dedicated nursing student and proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she moved to Bossier City at a young age and became a naturalized U.S. citizen at the age of 15. Currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Nursing at BPCC, Maria aspires to become a cardiopulmonary specialist, committed to advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys reading, powerlifting, caring for her ball python, and exploring fashion. Maria’s diverse interests and dedication reflect her passion for making a meaningful difference in her community and the healthcare field. Bertan will serve as a student representative on the LCTCS Board of Supervisors during the 2025-2026 term.
