On October 8, 2014, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors unanimously endorsed the Our Louisiana 2020: Building the Workforce of Tomorrow public agenda. Our Louisiana 2020 was designed to address the educational attainment concerns and workforce development needs of the state amid unprecedented capital investment. This public agenda was developed over several months of close collaboration with business and industry leaders, economic and workforce experts, K-12 and higher education officials, students, and college leadership.
