Whether you still need to earn your High School Equivalency (HSE) or are looking for your diploma or test scores, WorkReady U is the right place to start. Having a high school diploma or equivalent is the first step to opening doors to college, better jobs, and new opportunities. We can help you take the next step toward your future!
If you already earned your high school equivalency (HSE) through GED or HiSET testing (both are approved high school equivalency tests in Louisiana) or an alternative pathway, contact Diploma Sender for copies of your records. Diploma Sender maintains all records of high school equivalencies awarded in Louisiana and is the only official provider of Louisiana HSE transcripts - no matter when or how you tested!
If you graduated from a Louisiana high school and need to locate your diploma, The Louisiana Department of Education can verify your high school records, send transcripts, and provide your earned high school diploma.
If you recently passed HiSET or GED testing in Louisiana, then those scores will automatically be shared with Diploma Sender. You'll receive an email within 3-5 days after scores are uploaded regarding how to create a Diploma Sender account and access your ONE free set of records (diploma and transcript).
If you earned your High School Equivalency (HSE) through an alternate pathway (such as ACT or Accuplacer college placement testing, or by completing approved courses at a Louisiana community college) you'll need to complete the online LAHSE application and submit the $50 fee. The review process takes 10-14 business days and once approved you'll receive an email from LCTCS WorkReady U regarding how to set up your Diploma Sender account and access your ONE free set of records (diploma and transcript).
Yes! Louisiana allows for combining of qualifying HiSET and GED (2014 test or later) scores to earn your High School Equivalency (HSE). GED or HiSET scores cannot be combined with qualifying ACT or Accuplacer scores, however, there are some allowable combinations between Accuplacer and completion of college coursework.
It’s best to work with your local WorkReady U/Adult Education program to see which combinations are acceptable in your case. Or you can contact the LCTCS WorkReady U Office — they’ll check your record, explain your options, and help you map a path that uses as many of your existing credits or test scores as possible.
If Diploma Sender cannot find your records, it may be because:
Your tested under a different name (for example, a maiden name or nickname).
Your date of birth or other personal information doesn’t match what was used during testing.
Your test results were never submitted to WorkReady U and/or Diploma Sender.
Double-check that all information you entered (name, birth date, test year, and location) matches your testing records and visit Diploma Sender to do a live chat or get a call back, and contact WorkReady U if your records still can't be found.
Diploma Sender sends your first set of records for free. You can choose either a paper diploma and transcript mailed to the address you provide, or an online diploma/digital transcript sent through a secure email address.
- If you select "Email" as your diploma/transcript delivery option you'll need to access the secure link within the specified time period for it to be free. After the secure link expires then payment will be required.
- If you already accessed your first free set of Diploma Sender records (through email or print/mail), each additional/duplicate copy is $25 per item ($25 for diploma and $25 for transcript).
- If there are issues with an employer or college accepting your High School Equivalency records/transcripts, please contact WorkReady U so we can assist you with any additional official documentation or verification needed!
Through adult dual enrollment, you can earn your high school equivalency while taking college classes. Learners 18 and up can be enrolled in both workforce training or college classes while taking FREE Adult Education classes through WorkReady U, and there are also grants and scholarships available. A few college programs, like Nursing, may require a high school diploma for admission - but WorkReady U can help you earn your High School Equivalency (HSE) through one of our five approved pathways and then be ready to apply for any college program!
